Yvonne brings a breadth and depth of understanding in human resource management gained in the information technology, customer care and utilities industries. Career highlights include creating and staffing a human resources function for a start-up company, and successfully managing the human resources issues related to a corporate merger. She has used interest-based collective bargaining and problem-solving processes to support healthy and productive labour relations. She has also designed and delivered workshops to address personal transition issues after organizational restructuring.
Her expertise covers all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and selection, learning and development, compensation and benefits, succession planning, organization effectiveness, and change management.
Yvonne has a BA from the University of Alberta and an MSc in Organization Development from Pepperdine University in California. She is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
