He has served a broad range of industries including oil and gas, industrial and commercial construction, manufacturing, distribution, municipal, provincial and federal government, agriculture, business, and financial services, insurance, healthcare, biotech, and telecommunications.

Floyd has assisted several top-tier corporate customers in restructuring and creating growth opportunities within their businesses. Roselyn Himann

Roselyn is a modern renaissance woman skilled in business development, strategy and innovation. She is known for inspiring and empowering her team, and ignites powerful results for clients.

As Vice President of Toombs’ Calgary office, Roselyn is responsible for strategic leadership, business development in career management, career transition, employee retention, retirement, and more.

With over two decades of management experience, Roselyn’s work has taken her across six continents where she managed diverse portfolios. Her wide range of expertise includes working with tech start-ups, engineering firms and entrepreneurs.

Dynamic and full of warm enthusiasm, Roselyn is known as a “go-to” person, often sought out to provide insight to complex and challenging problems, bringing solutions that benefit all.

Above all, Roselyn is ambitious and compassionate. As the founder of the non-profit Energy For All, she has touched thousands of lives around the world providing clean water, renewable energy programs, and infrastructure to remote communities including First Nations reserves in Canada.

When not at work, Roselyn enjoys instilling the thrill of new adventures in her two children whether that’s exploring different cultures through food and language, learning new sports like paddle boarding or cross country skiing in the back country of the Rockies. Above all, Roselyn’s favourite love is celebrating people.

Martha Willson

Martha knows the power of meaningful work firsthand. For over thirty years, she has witnessed the transformative energy of finding work that matters for her clients.

As a certified career coach and transition educator, Martha helps people navigate the turbulent time of career transition with a keen understanding of the Alberta job market. Through this process, she helps clients push boundaries and connects them with resources and people they need to succeed.

Dynamic and compassionate, Martha is a respected thought leader in the career transition space. An ardent advocate of lifelong learning, Martha also taught at Mount Royal University where she co-designed and delivered MRU’s Integrative Health Coach Certification program and facilitated the Coaching in the Workplace workshops. She’s presently learning about and integrating developmental coaching into her resource kit in order to assist her clients at a deeper level.

Always looking for ways to create positive change for her clients and in the community, Martha is no stranger to volunteering. Her roles have included Calgary Women’s Network (co-founder and two-term president), HR Career Network (host), YWCA of Calgary (president), Propellus, Calgary’s volunteer centre (board), and Handsome Alice (Board member).

Bonnie Tamura

She has worked with Toombs for over a decade, supporting clients from multiple industries and at all levels of organizations. With a genuine passion for helping clients on their career journey, Bonnie provides a supportive space where clients are heard and encouraged to stretch outside of their comfort zone and achieve success.

Bonnie’s expertise spans several areas including in learning and development and career development. Prior to working with Toombs she held roles in financial services, telecommunications and public service organizations. Recurring threads across these roles have been the value of self-awareness, the need for strong interpersonal and communication skills, and how we change.

A lifelong learner, Bonnie continues to explore how we know ourselves, how we change and grow, and how we show up and interact with others. As a new student of Aikido, she is diving deeper into embodied self-awareness, presence, connecting and learning in the dojo.

Cari Frame

Prior to coaching, Cari worked in solo-preneurship, civil engineering, forestry, health ethics and even firefighting.  With her degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy from the University of Alberta, she worked as an Ethics Education Coordinator for Alberta Health Services.

Cari loves being a mother, a writer, outdoor enthusiast and a volunteer for vulnerable populations. She was a Leadership Volunteer with the Distress Centre for five years and is now an Ambassador for the Gems for Gems, helping to end the cycle of domestic violence across Canada.

Ken Glover

For the last seventeen years Ken has worked within the Human Resources sector and over the last eight years he has engaged in Career Counselling and Career Transition. Agnes Thibeault

Agnes is a dynamic, enthusiastic, compassionate consultant who enjoys helping others reach their full potential. Her diverse background includes career management consulting, recruitment, program/operations management, and training.

She began her professional life in the career management field at the University of Calgary, where she helped students learn the principles of career search. As Team Lead, Resident Services to two long-term care facilities, Agnes applied her leadership and human resources skills, building teams and managing daily operations.

With over a decade of training experience, she has facilitated workshops on a wide range of topics including customer service, program management and leadership. In her role as Training Specialist with the Information and Privacy Office of the Government of Alberta, she delivered the Understanding Privacy Legislation training program province-wide. For nearly five years, Agnes held the Government of Alberta contract facilitating career development workshops on topics including career exploration, entrepreneurship, resume writing, work search strategies and interview skills.

When she is not coaching, Agnes loves to be outdoors, enjoying nature, going on walks and hiking in the mountains. She practices Pilates at her husband’s studio, Pure Pilates Inc. Ada Tai

As a dedicated, steadfast person, Lori is a natural problem solver.

Lori began her career in health care, where she worked as a physical therapist for nine years before making the transition to the accounting field. With her superior organizational skills, and her strong attention to detail, she found this transition to be very rewarding.

Lori has been with Toombs Inc. since 1998. She manages the company finances, including the company accounting and investing transactions, payroll, and the company benefits program. She truly enjoys being part of the dynamic team at Toombs.

As an avid runner, Lori has completed 17 marathons, including three Boston Marathon finishes. She can often be found out on the pathways of Okotoks and the trails in West Bragg Creek.

Norm Volk
CAREER COACH

A passionate coach and mentor, Norman has always put supporting peoples’ needs first.

From his early days working in the forestry industry with Weyerhaeuser, Norman took great pride in forging relationships with local farmers, trappers, and Indigenous bands to grow the industry in the province. He was instrumental in creating integrated land use policies and processes through the oil and gas boom of the 80’s and 90’s in Alberta.

Before leaving the industry as a Strategic Business Manager, Norm led the transition of the company’s nine operations in Alberta to a new Forest Information System focused on managing the company’s integrated forest planning requirements, their strategic 20-year plans, wildlife management and land use in an all-digital Web enabled environment.

As the Industry downsized its presence in Canada, Norm also transitioned into a HR and outplacement consulting role with Toombs Inc., assisting corporations and individuals with their career transition needs. He also worked for one of North America’s largest pipeline companies, Enbridge Inc., in its IT department, managing an international team of developers and business analysts as a Business Relationship Manager and acting as the interface between IT systems and support teams and business operations.

Most recently, he has started a new small business assisting a variety of homeowners with household fixes and improvements. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, snowboarding, biking, camping. He loves all things in the ocean, travelling and experiencing different cultures.

With a friendly but focused approach to everything he does, Norm finds great satisfaction in building mutual relationships and finding innovative solutions to life’s challenges.

Paul Cairns
CAREER COACH

Paul Cairns specializes in facilitating development with others. As an educator and facilitator himself, Paul helps others learn, make choices, and follow their paths through to fulfillment.

With three decades experience as a human resource and organizational development professional in large organizations, Paul’s success is built on his ability to work with others as they create success in their own organizations and careers. He enjoys coaching supervisors and aspiring supervisors to define and meet their development goals.

Having created corporate mentorship programs, lead succession planning, managed corporate training, leadership programs, and internal consulting assignments, Paul has worked with all types of organizational leaders and situations, guiding them in their own professional and personal development. His strengths as a coach have enabled others to grow and lead in their own right.

Paul completed his master’s degree in adult education from St Francis Xavier University. His research streams included organizational development, counselling, career development, and participatory research.

Maintaining current professional knowledge is important to Paul and he has held memberships in the Association for Talent Development, the Academy of Management, the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, and the Transactional Analysis Association (USA).

Outside of work, Paul loves playing board games, reading, and getting outdoors.
